Crystal Healing Therapy
Crystals have been used for healing for centuries and by many different cultures It is a holistic therapy, which means that the focus is on the whole rather than on an individual issue or on the physical symptoms alone. The aim of this therapy is to restore the body to wholeness, on an emotional, physical and mental level. This is why crystal healing is considered complementary to traditional medicine and not an alternative. Crystal Healing will often involve some form of change in either the clients lifestyle or way of thinking. Healing with crystals will bring about stress relief, release of tension and relaxation. Apart from promoting 'wellness' and helping to prevent physical illness, it can be of use in the following circumstances:

How Does Crystal Healing Work?
Crystal therapists or healers do not diagnose physical ailments. They will however assess the condition of the clients aura and chakra's before choosing appropriate crystals to help bring the body back into balance and harmony. The state of the aura and chakra system can influence the state of the physical body therefore it is often this area that the therapist will work on. By healing the aura and balancing the chakra system, this in turn will activate the body's own ability to begin it's self healing process.

What you can expect during a crystal healing session.
You will be asked questions about your general health, the reason why you are seeking healing and contact details about your doctor etc. You will then be asked to lay down (fully clothed) on a massage couch, you will be asked to remove your shoes and any items such as watches or heavy jewellery. Once you are relaxed and comfortable, small crystals on or around you. The healing energies are channeled in and around your aura. The crystals will be left in place for a period of 20 - 30 minutes. You may experience a feeling of deep relaxation, sometimes a little warmth or coolness during the session.
